Some people think they’ve got nothing to do with fashion. They think they’re no good for all that fancy stuff and thus they wear bland and boring pieces. This doesn’t have to stay like that and with purchasing just a few nice pieces even you can spice your wardrobe up a little.
I am one of those people I have to admit, fashion has never been one of my key priorities. Maybe I was too busy cooking food, or having a few hours session in front of my computer and that was not motivating me the least to get something that is nice on the eyes. I was basically wearing anything that happened to be the first thing hanging in my wardrobe.
Now that the summer is silently starting to step on our tails it’s time to think about it for a little though. Long tops are mostly the key part of a winter outfit, but they’re perfectly fine for spring and summer as well. During the spring a long top can be a life saver if you live in a climate where days can be tricky. If I wore things I think will be fine just looking out the window every day I would most probably freeze to death in London. Days tend to start out nice and then nature just pulls a joke and it starts raining.
Long tops are perfect for that, if you choose a not that thick fabric one you will have something that doesn’t cook you, but comes really handy when it drops a few degrees later on. During the winter I wear a long hooded sweater, not that I like to hide my face or anything, I just don’t like toting that umbrella all day long, a hooded long top is a perfect solution for those who are notorious at leaving theirs at home.
Another great use for them is the combination of long and short sleeve tops. I personally don’t do that, but it’s rather popular amongst youngsters to wear a short top over the long one. They basically buy a simple long top with no pattern whatsoever, preferably not thick in fabric, and put their favorite (lưới an toàn) above it. One with a funny quote or just simply one they like. That way they get to express themselves with the t- chicago white sox hawaiian shirt but they keep warm during those tricky days.
Long tops really have great uses during the winter but you don’t have to put them into the bottom of the wardrobe during the summer either. If you’re heading out to the city at for the night you probably make a good use of it and there are ones that aren’t that warm so you can wear them all day long.
